Higher education tourism and hospitality programmes are offered in a number of ITs and colleges across Ireland. Courses range from two to four years in duration and are provided at levels six to nine (higher/advanced certificate to master’s awards) on the National Qualifications Framework. Full-time, part- time, and distance learning programmes are available.

Further Education
Further Education and Training (FET) offers a wide variety of education options to anyone over 16. FET includes apprenticeships, traineeships and Post Leaving Cert (PLC) full- and part-time courses.
FET courses and programmes are provided through the Education and Training Board (ETB) network throughout the country, as well as through other local providers. Courses are provided at levels one to six on the National Qualifications Framework.
