The Irish Hotels Federation

The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) is the national organisation of the hotel and guesthouse sector in Ireland. Founded in 1937, it represents almost 1,000 hotels and guesthouses countrywide, which together employ over 57,000 people.

The IHF is a key stakeholder in the Irish tourism industry that supports an estimated 230,000 jobs across the country (equivalent to 11% of the total workforce). The industry is expected to create 40,000 more jobs over the next five years, including 6,000 new entry-level positions each year.

With support from Fáilte Ireland, the IHF has produced this website and the magazine, Get a Life in Tourism, to highlight the many exciting career opportunities in Irish tourism.
