Are you curious about the tourism industry? Would you like to know what it’s really like working in hospitality? The Irish Hotels Federation has launched an exciting new programme offering transition year students two weeks’ work experience in participating member hotels and guesthouses.

Under the programme you can apply for experience in the department of your choice, whether you would like to try working ‘front of house’ looking after guests in the reception, bar, restaurant or accommodation departments or behind the scenes where you can gain experience in sales and marketing, human resources, finance, event planning and more…

To apply, simply click on the list of IHF member hotels who are participating in the programme and email the HR team in your local hotel to enquire about the opportunities available in your preferred department.
